Hi, I have been struggling all day with no sound on my PC after upgrading to Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Provide a detailed description of the issue
I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. After the upgrade I am no longer getting any sound. Furthermore, the Intel Display Audio sound configuration only has an option for 2 channels. The option for 7.1 is no longer there (it was there in Windows 7). Under encoded formats it no longer shows support for Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS-HD MA, and Dolby TrueHD. (These were all listed under Windows 7)
Please place an X to the right of the option showing how often you see this issue using specific steps. (Ex: 'Every few times a game is started it flickers.' <- This would be "Often")<p>

Hi jaydee77ca,
Sadly according to the graphics controller you have: Intel® Celeron® Processor 900/1000/G1000 Series with Intel® HD Graphics, it supports Windows® 10 with this limitations; - Windows 10 drivers for 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4000 and 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 2500 (formerly codenamed Ivy Bridge) will include support for Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.3. For reference, WDDM 1.2 features are available on Microsoft's website. This Windows 10 driver won't be digitally signed, which means that it hasn' been tested by Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). Note that Windows will alert you with a message if a driver is not digitally signed, but you can continue the installation.
You can corroborate it here:

However I recommend you to install the drivers provide by your system manufacturer http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3963# dl http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3963# dl
Please let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Hellen.
