Hello ianfox04,
I understand you are getting blue screen of death when using OpenGL* applications.
Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.
In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
The graphics controller that comes in the Intel Atom® x5-Z8350 Processor supports up to OpenGL* 4.3.
To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.
Regards,
Fred

Hello ianfox04,
Thanks for proving an update.
We have fixed some TDR issues in latest graphics driver we have available for Cherry Trail CPUs. The Reselase Notes that is on this link will provide more information about it https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=88345
You may try installing that driver and checking if the issue persists or not.
Regards,
Fred D.

Hi Fred,
We're already using the driver you refer to above (with issues). We have also tried the more recently available driver.
More detail on the issue;
1. Furmark and 3D Mark stress tests do not appear to create the same TDR Issue (either stop, or driver reset).
2. The issue appears to be most common when the our application is running light loads (less than 5%- 30% GPU load) for long periods of time (3-12 hours). The GPU in this state clocks down to 400Mhz (see the top image below) and is very stable a 400Mhz (no turbo boost, no throttling)
3. The second graph, shows running more load, which has prevented the TDR issue from occuring. (lots of Turbo-boosting).
