I use my Laptop for Extending my screen to Projector and a smart tv. I use HDMI and a Splitter for the same.
But in my display settings there are only 2 displays detected. First display is my Laptop and the second display is both the projector and the Smart TV . I want my Smart TV as a third Display so that I can share my OBS screen on the TV.
In Device manager under Monitors section when I checked after connecting the HDMI I could only see 2 displays. One is the Laptop screen and 2nd is the Projector Screen(Kindly look at the Image for reference). Kindly Help me out as I want three displays: Computer Screen, Projector and Smart TV.

A splitter will not give you a third screen. It only duplicates a signal to two devices (screens).

Thank you for the Response. Do you have any suggestions regarding what to use instead of Splitter for the third display.

What is your laptop make and model number?
Do you have USB-C ports or Display ports? Or, even a VGA port?

Connect a third monitor to the display port. If the monitor does not have a display port connector, get a display port to hdmi adapter and connect the monitor.

I Really Apologize. I think I have given the Wrong Information. The Laptop, Projector and Smart TV have HDMI Port not Display Port.
Let me simply explain the scenario. I Have this laptop. One main HDMI Cable. The Main HDMI is connected from Laptop to the input of Splitter. Splitter has 2 Output. From Splitter there are 2 HDMI Cables; one goes to Epson Projector, and the Second HDMI goes to the Smart TV.
And Problem is as you mentioned Splitter is Duplicating the Signal to Projector and Smart TV. But I Want the Smart TV as a third Display.
I really Appreciate your efforts and time.

Hello, @Danies
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
Since this is not related to a Processor inquiry/issue, we are moving this thread to the correct forum, Graphics.
If I may jump into the conversation, what is the model of your smart TV?
Have you tried using direct connections (DP to DP or HDMI to HDMI)?
Please be aware that Intel does not recommend using any kind of adapters or splitters and cannot guarantee 3rd party products/adapters will work as expected: Using Video Cable Adapters, Splitters and/or Docking Stations in Computers not Manufactured by Intel

HDMI can only carry the signal for a single display. It's not like DisplayPort, which can carry multiple. As a result, there is no device/dongle/adapter that will make it possible to connect two independent displays via this port. It's simply impossible.
All is not lost. There are two other possibilities for how you might be able to make this work:
- If the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can use a USB-C-to-HDMI adapter to support your TV. There are even USB Hub devices with HDMI ports that will allow you to use this port for the display and still be able to power the laptop. Again, this is only possible if the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. I scanned the User's and Quick Start Guides for this laptop, but was not able to determine whether or not this is supported; you will thus need to ask Huawei Customer Support to find out.
- If that doesn't work, you can always fall back to the use of a USB 3.0-based Graphics Adapter. Here are some examples:
- (cheap 1080p) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XQHW8RT
- (better 1080p) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H91BQ7Y
- (dual providing 4K 30Hz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0725K1MHH (I have one of these; works great)
- (dual providing 4K 60Hz) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072FHTZ8V
Hope this helps,

Hello, @Danies
As additional advice, we recommend you check this with your System Manufacturer as you are using adapters with your setup and this could be a limitation as well regarding the amount of monitors supported, wrong configuration, etc.
This thread will no longer be monitored, thank you for your understanding.
