Hello

I will connect 3 screen on my PC : one in VGA, one in HDMI and the screen of my laptop

When I plug the screen inHMDI to my laptop it's OK .

But when i add the screen in vga, the HDMI screen turns black and only the screen in VGA and the screen of the laptop work.

How to solve this problem ?

Thanks

Theoretically your processor supports 3 monitors according to https://ark.intel.com/products/72164/Intel-Core-i5-3230M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_20-GHz-rPGA Intel® Core™ i5-3230M Processor (3M Cache, up to 3.20 GHz) rPGA Product Specifications

At first check out https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005556/graphics-drivers.html Frequently Asked Questions About Configuring Three Displays

Try drivers from this list https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81499/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 4000

Select OS from right pull-down menu. Hit "show more".

To bypass message "best driver is already installed", "customized computer manufacturer driver" or "computer is not validated" install driver via have disk method as described at:

(ignore prolog about MS surface)

MSI does not offer Windows 10 support for your rig https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE60_0ND Support For GE60 0ND | Laptops - The best gaming laptop provider | MSI Global

Also NVIDIA Optimus technology can make things more complicated.

Try to find a setting in BIOS where you can control monitors.

Thank you Stefan for your answer.II have download and install the driver with the link that you give and i have reboot my pc but the problem persist.

I think that when I connect the screen with the vga port this disconnects the screen with the hdmi port.

And i don't know why...

Hello

and thank you for helping me.

I have attached the requested file.

Currently I connected two extra monitor to my laptop but with this configuration the screen of my laptop does not work.

Finally, this solution suits me perfectly the screen of my laptop being of poor quality (black pixel).

if with the diagnostic file the solution is obvious then tell me but if it is more complicated do not bother to find a solution that i'm not sure to use.

a thousand times thank you

Regards,

Pascale

Hello pmlssp,

Thank you for your response,

Upon review of the information everything seems to be OK. Now, regarding the connection that you are making. Have you tried using a different HDMI cable? Or perhaps connecting the HDMI first and then the VGA?

Make sure to open "Graphics Properties" and select how you would like to configure the multiple displays from there, refer to the screenshot attached for more information.

Hello,

Thank for you answer.

I have already done this operation to plug my two extra monitors and it's work very well

The problem is that the screen of my laptop is not detected as the third screen.

I thought that with my configuration I could use 3 independent screens two external screens plus my laptop.

But with the "panel of configuration graphique HD Intel" I can not do it, only my two external screens are detected.

Regards,

Pascale

Hello pmlssp,

Thank you for your response,

Regarding the issue that you are currently experiencing it could be due to the way you have the monitors configured. For example, here are different configurations that are supported for multi-monitor:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000025673/graphics-drivers.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000025673/graphics-drivers.html

In order to be able to use the current configuration the built-in display must be connected with an embedded display port. I would advise you to check with the computer manufacturer to see if the built-in display is using it or not. The graphics controller supports it but the computer does not seem to have the minimum requirements for a 3-monitor configuration.

Wow, does it take this long a conversation to say that this particular laptop does not support the VGA and HDMI connectors being used simultaneously?
