Problem with Intel HD Graphics Installation Error

I upgraded my PC to windows 8.1 and when I tried to install Intel Graphics it prompted that the machine does not meet the minimum requirements. I tried reinstalling the graphics driver I installed in windows 8 but it won't install now; giving me the same error prompt. When I tried to run the Intel Driver Update Utility in the Intel website, it said that the device is unknown or unsupported. Why? I downloaded the driver from the Acer website it won't continue installing the driver.

So little information.

What is the model number of your device/motherboard?

WHat is your processor model number?

Are you a laptop or desktop?

What driver are you trying to install?

Do you have dual graphics?
