Hello RKuta, Thank you for joining this Intel Community. We would like to gather more information to troubleshoot this issue. Please follow these steps: A. Check Windows* updates – scan and apply all of them. B. Run the Intel® System Support Utility and attach the report to this thread. 1.Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application to your system. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-?product=91600 2.Open the application and click Scan to see system and device information. Hello RKuta, How was the Windows* DCH driver installed? (i.e Manually or via Windows* Updates). If it was installed via Windows* Updates, try installing it using a different method. For Intel® HD Graphics 530 / Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 / Version: DCH 25.20.100.6471 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28445/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=88345 You can try these steps below: 1. Download the latest DCH driver. 2. Disconnect your unit from the Internet to prevent Windows* Updates from installing any other driver. 3. Uninstall the DCH driver and the Intel® Graphics Control Panel from Control Panel > Programs and Features. 4. Restart the computer. 5. Make sure the 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter' is listed under Windows* Device Manager > Video adapters. If not, repeat steps 2 to 4. 6. If the adapter continues to be listed as ‘Intel HD Graphics’, and no other Intel® Graphics driver is listed under 'Programs and Features' for removal, then it means Windows* has switched to a previously installed Legacy driver. At this point, we can remove Legacy drivers from Device Manager: 6.1.1 Right-click on 'Intel HD Graphics' or similar, and select 'Uninstall Device' 6.1.2 In the pop-up window make sure 'Delete the driver software for this device' is checked. 6.1.3 Click on 'Uninstall'. 6.1.4 Restart. (Repeat steps 6.1.1 through 6.1.4 until the device gets listed as 'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter') 7. Install the DCH driver that was downloaded on step 1. 8. Restart the computer. 9. Enable your Internet connection. 10. Download the Intel Graphics Control Panel from the MS Store. Wanner G. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation

Installation was manual (with DCH driver installer). I've already done the procedure below a week ago and nothing has changed. However, I will try again.

If you click on the Graphics forum, or simply Google the update, you will see many of us experience the same error. It appears even with the driver uninstalled and the iGPU disabled for me.

The problem still persists, after installing, the windows store wants to install the "intel media sdk DFP" application, but the download will cut in half and the software will not be installed. Every day, Windows Update tries to install this app, but it fails (manual search in store does not find this aplication). Now I have another problem with running a graphical control panel, its does not start. The application has a problem with the net frameworks - see the attachment with control panel error.

I'd ignore it for now. It's just cosmetic. Hopefully it gets fixed by either Intel or Microsoft soon. From researching the error codes a bit, this looks to be an update that was removed/retracted for some reason, and the Windows Update/Store still tries to push it, and fails.

Another more serious issue in the last DCHU driver is that Quicksync is not working either, but I've seen it reported already.

Hello RKuta, I am writing to let you know that we have been working on this issue. This issue could be related to the transition from Legacy drivers to Windows DCH drivers, and vice versa. We recommend following these steps: 1. Remove the DCH driver and Control Panel using the Apps and Features option in Windows* and install the drivers provided by your system manufacturer only. These are the steps to remove the Windows* DCH drivers properly. 1. Download the latest Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) driver. Install the latest Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that was downloaded in step 1. 8. Reboot your system. 9. Enable your Internet connection. 2. If the issue persists, then we recommend checking if you can perform a System Restore in Windows*. Wanner G. After returning back to the PRE DCH driver, I had to clean registers too and delete hidden devices in Windows Device Manager (Intel Media SDK, Intel Control Panel) - thats important, otherwise the bug still appears. Now without errors yet.

and after several days without errors, the ID20 problem is back today even with the old drivers. Microsoft has a big problem with windows store, installing what is not needed in the background.
