Please bear in mind you have a mature product and the latest Intel(R) Graphics Driver was posted since 2010. Intel is not releasing fixes or new drivers for this type of motherboard model.
If you are unable to obtain 1440*900 make sure you have loaded the latest monitor INF drivers and the latest video drivers for your motherboard:
