Is it posible to replace a D945GTP motherboard after failure with a new D945GTP and maintain the data on a existing RAID system (On board RAID)?

Hi Ben,
Well, in theory, it should be fine for that.
I did it personally on many Intel Desktop boards several times without any problem.
Here are the steps that i followed:

Perform a complete and separate verified Backup as a precaution
Try to connect the drives onto the identical motherboard with exactly the same board revision and same firmware revision if possible
Connect the drives to same sata ports as in the original machine.
It should work fine. Make sure to configure the SATA as RAID in the board bios. You dont need to reconfigure the raid in the RAID BIOS. Make sure not to do that as by mistake if you reset the raid to non-raid, you may lose all the data.
