While I was trying to fix an issue for a game I used a windows shortcut to reset the driver ( CTRL + SHIFT + WINDOWS + B ), and tried to start the game again (Doom Eternal) after that my screen started flickering black every seconds. I have had this issue before but it is hard to replicate and only happens in certain games or situations which I dont know why or how to replicate it. Ive left a video showing the screen (My screen is in 16:9 ratio because of the game but it also happens in the normal laptop ratio). Restarting the computer also fixes the issue and I have the latest drivers installed.

Hello Sal2,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I would like to know more about your system details to fully understand where the issue truly lies. Please help share the following details below:
1) May I know what graphics driver version is currently installed?
2) Are there any other games affected by this issue aside from the Doom Eternal?
3) I hope to get your system configuration so I can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt). Attach the log file as you reply.
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hi, I have been in contact with Intel customer support through emails so I will also include additional information if you find it useful.
1 - The graphics card driver version is Intel Graphic Drivers 32.0.101.6325
2 - It seems the issue with Doom Eternal only occurred after using the shortcut which I mentioned in the beginning message and it seems not have been giving the same issue again as of this time, but this issues occurs frequently when I try to play a specific version of a game called Minecraft and it crashes the game too.
3 - I will be leaving the SSU report below.
I have tried the steps in this article, none of them seem to have worked (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000026580/graphics.html)
Formatting Windows, making a clean installation of the graphic drivers doesn't fix the issue. Another weird behaviour I have found was that after it crashed my game and the screen started flickering some visual glitches also happened sometime like in my Desktop everything but the icons in it turned black (I will be leaving a video bellow). One thing I want to make clear is that it does not happen by itself, it happens after I launch the game, so it might be game related and I haven't made any recent changes on my computer (except reinstalling windows, but it happens no matter that).
Il also leave a shortened version of the crash log though I'm not sure if that will help in any way. Lastly I am trying to see if this issue occurs in other monitors.

After connecting my laptop to my TV through a HDMI cable, the black flicking doesn't happen on the TV.

Hello Sal2,
Good day!
I have reviewed the issue you raised and noticed that you have created two support tickets, one through chat and one in the community. Please let us know on which support platform you wanted to proceed with our assistance to avoid any further confusion.
Based on the last recommendation and action taken, you already updated to the latest Intel graphics driver version (generic) and the issue still persisted.
You may try updating to the graphics driver using the OEM version to see if the issue persists. If the problem continues, it is best to contact your OEM support team, as there may be an issue with the internal LCD, especially since the problem does not occur when using an external monitor.
I hope this recommendation helps.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello,
To avoid the confusion I would prefer to continue with assistance through the one in the chat (the emails). I'm going to see if the issue still persists with the OEM driver version and let you know, if so I will follow with what you have told me, thank you.
