Second screen only not working

Iam trying to project my MSI laptop whose resolution is 1920x1080 to my old monitor with resolution 1600x900 by using HDMI. Can do it by reducing my screen resolution in my laptop. But i cannot choose the option "second screen only" and it shows out of range. Rest all options work like extemd screen , project screen. Please help
