Dear all,

I recently got an HP LP2475w display with a resolution of 1920x1200. I connected it to my dell inspiron 7506 2in1 laptop (windows 11, intel iris Xe graphics) via an USB-HDMI adapter from CableXpert. I downloaded and installed the latest driver for the adapter (ms usb display, https://github.com/MindShow/USBDisplay/blob/main/WinDows/MSDisplay_MultiDev_v1.0.0.18.0.exe) and updated my intel driver (32.0.101.5972). My screen is detected by windows 11 and can be used as 1920x1080, but unfortunately I connot set the correct resolution as it does not appear in the windows 11 options. On the other hand, the display appears in the intel arc control but with the error message: this display is not connected to intel graphics product, please connect it... and i cannot see the display in the intel graphics command center.

Do you have any solutions to set the correct resolution of my display ?

Thank you very much and have a good day 🙂

I observed that my adapter support only 1920x1080 resolutions, thus I made some changes in my screens and I connected my 1920x1080 screen to the adapter, but now it has poor performance (e.g. when I resize windows). Is this normal given the fact that it goes through a USB port, although I should have a 60 Hz refresh rate, or is it related to the fact that my screen is not recognized by the intel graphics command center ?

I saw that @MUC  proposed to use my thunderbolt port (thank you for your fast response), but I already use it for a small usb hub and did not want to buy a full docking station.
