The Intel Driver & Support Assistant continues to prompt me to update a driver I do not want to update. How can I stop this without turning off all updates?

When I check the update the driver & support assistant warns:

nstalling this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite any customized driver from your Computer Manufacturer (OEM).

Can I create a list of drivers not to update or do I have to endure this prompt until I turn off the driver assistant?

Sorry, but the IDSA does not have such a feature. It has been requested before, so perhaps a future release might support what you want.

It should be noted that, once you see it installing updates with build number 8141 and above, the installation upgrades the base driver without affecting any OEM/MNC customizations. The current version available is 8190 (27.20.100.8190).
