Two driver regressions

I've already tried to get in touch with you, but I got told to try it here instead. I basically have noticed these two driver regressions and am therefore forced to stay on an earlier graphics driver.

System:

System Used: Intel NUC7i5BNK
CPU SKU: Intel Core i5-7260U
GPU SKU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640
Processor Line: Mobile
System BIOS Version: BNKBL357.86A.0081
CMOS settings:
Graphics Driver Version: 26.20.100.6861
GOP/VBIOS Version: 9.0.1084
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10
OS Version: 10.0.17763
API: Vulkan
Occurs on non-Intel GPUs?: No

Regression #1:

Application: Dolphin

First bad driver: 26.20.100.6890

How to reproduce:

  1. Grab yourself a Dolphin development build
  2. Set the graphics backend to Vulkan
  3. Run the attached fifo.dff (inside fifo.zip)
  4. You should see this error: Failed to submit command buffer.

Regression #2:

Application: RPCS3

First bad driver: 26.20.100.7372

How to reproduce:

  1. Get yourself a RPCS3 build before v0.0.7-9130
  2. Follow the quickstart (install firmware)
  3. Set the graphics backend to Vulkan
  4. Run an ELF file (you can find demos in rpcs3/dev_hdd0/game/TEST12345/USRDIR)
  5. Resize the render window

Hint: The driver used to report VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DATE_KHR.

In both cases the other graphics backend do work as intended so it's only Vulkan that needs to get fixed. Good luck!
