What is the best utility to measure fps in games using Intel HD/Iris?

fraps seems to be all over but it is rather old and desupported. Razer Cortex requires a connection to the internet. I don't care about recording, just a plain fps counter. I would suggest Intel to develop one, both NVidia and AMD have one such utility.

This is a good suggestion I would like to forward to our engineering department for consideration in future releases.

Yes, Fraps is outdated, it has not been updated since 2013. I highly recommend http://www.d3dgear.com/ D3DGear. D3DGear is a game recording software, it has build in benchmark function that allows user to measure fps and CPU usage etc. Here is a D3DGear page that does comparison between D3DGear and Fraps: http://www.d3dgear.com/fraps-alternative Fraps Alternative
