Windows 10 wont detect 2nd monitor

I just upgraded my laptop to windows 10. After doing this update i can no longer use my second monitor. When I try to detect it, nothing comes up. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for my Intel HD Graphics 4000. When I look at the driver status in the device manager it says, "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". Anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

Does this issue still happen with the latest video drivers 4252?
