Windows update attempts to install older driver for HD3000 graphics

I have been experiencing a problem with multiple clients where the HD Video driver has been reverting to an older driver that is not compatible software on their workstation. I was able to get a screen shot where Windows update is attempting to update the older driver over a newer one. If I select the update, it will replace the current driver even though it is newer. Is there a process to get this corrected, so that Windows update does not perform an incorrect driver update?

Sanfordg, thanks a lot for the information. I'm going to report this to the corresponding team in order to find out if there is something we can do in order to fix this behavior.

Currently happening with I217-LM. WU wants to install driver from early 2014.
