Hello largecreeper,

In understand you are trying to play a computer game in full screen.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

I would like you to try updating the graphics driver. Please download this driver https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25977/eng/win64_153343.4425.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25977/eng/win64_153343.4425.zip

Please install that driver with the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY

The content on the above site is not controlled by Intel. This information is offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel for the merchants or services offered there.

Another troubleshooting step you can try is changing Scaling option on the Intel Graphics Control Panel. You can right click on the Desktop>>Graphics Properties>>Display, and then change Scaling setting to "Scale Full Screen".

Let me know if issue persists or not.

Regards,

Fred

Hello largecreeper,

Would you please check if the "Scale Full Screen" option appears with different screen resolution?

If you get the "Scale Full Screen option" on different screen resolution please apply the setting, and then test the game.

Let me know your findings.

Regards,

Hello largecreeper,

I am sorry to hear you are still having issues with the computer.

I would like you to try installing the monitor driver from this link https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Monitor/Monitor_Acer_1.0_Vistax64Vistax86XPx86XPx64W7x86W7x64_A.zip?acerid=634102841534191008 https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Monitor/Monitor_Acer_1.0_Vistax64Vistax86XPx86XPx64W7x86W7x64_A.zip?acerid=634102841534191008

As soon as the monitor driver has been installed check if you get the "Scale Full Screen" option on the Intel Graphics Control Panel. If you get the "Scale Full Screen" option on any screen resolution please apply the setting, and then test the game.

If issue persists let me have the Intel® Graphics Driver Report. This link will show you how to generate it http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html

What type of video cable are you using between the computer and the monitor?

Hello largecreeper,

Thanks for the additional information you sent to me.

I did not find anything unusual in the Intel Graphics Driver Report you sent to me.

All that I can think of is that Acer* may have disabled "Scale Full Screen" option in your specific computer model. The best option would be contacting Acer* directly so they can provide more advanced troubleshooting steps for this issue. This link will give you their contact information https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact
