decrease the ammount of memory reserved on linux

Hi i have a 4gb laptop (lenovo carbon x1) but when i check the ammount of ram in linux it only see 2gb . Diggin in google i see that the other 2gb are reserved by the video card. how i can reduce that reserve?

Most BIOSs have parameters that allow you to change the graphics memory reservation. This is usually set to a number like 128MB, not 2GB. Setting it any higher is not going to make a difference in graphics performance.
