gpu not updating in supported cpu

Hello dear employees of intel,

I have a problem to address of which I could not find a solution online. 

My laptop does not update my CPU to the latest driver even though my CPU is supported and mentioned in the list of supported devices do not understand why? and I checked in device driver support assistant which did not detect a new driver for my CPU I thought of clean installing, but it sounded risky, so I came here to inquire about it please help me I want to game so bad 😞

My laptop specs:
CPU: Intel core i5-4200M @2.50Ghz   2.49Ghz

L3 cache:3.0MB

1 sockets 

2 cores 

4 processors

memory: 12gb ram 1333MHz

GPU: Intel HD 4600

DirectX verson:12(FL 11.1)

GPU memory: 2.1gb

dedicated :128MB.

shared gpu:2.0gb

IDSA does not do a very good job of identifying driver packages for (long discontinued) systems like this. The final driver package for your processor is v15.40.48.5171, driver version 20.19.15.5171, which you can download and manually install from here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18369/intel-graphics-driver-for-windows-15-40.html.

If this package does not install cleanly, you will need to try doing a clean install. Here is my step-by-step process for performing a proper clean install:

1. Download - but do not install just yet - the new driver package from the Intel site. Here is link to download page: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344. 
2. Very Important: Disconnect system from Internet. Unplug Ethernet cable and/or disable Wireless. Note: if using Wireless, it should be disabled in such a way that reboots can occur without it automatically re-enabling.
3. In the Apps and Features applet, check to see if there is an Intel Graphics Driver entry. If not, skip to Step 6.
4. Click on the Intel Graphics Driver entry and select Uninstall.
5. Reboot the system, keeping Internet access disconnected.
6. From Device Manager, check if there is an Intel HD Graphics 4600 entry. If you see only the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, skip to Step 9.
7. Right-click on the Intel HD Graphics 4600 entry and select Uninstall Device. Checkmark Delete the driver software for this device and then click on the Uninstall button.
8. Go back to step 5.
9. Install the new driver package that you downloaded in Step 1.
10. Reboot the system.
11. Reconnect Internet access.
12. Test.

Depending upon the history of your Windows/Drivers installation, it may take multiple uninstall and reboot cycles (i.e. steps 5-8) to clean out the old installations, so don’t give up on the process. If you get to, say, 10 cycles, stop there and attempt the installation of the downloaded driver package.
