- 부적절한 컨텐트 신고
Greetings.
Setup: Dell laptop with Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics plugged into the Dell USB-C docking station. 2 monitors plugged into the docking station. Driver v. 31.0.101.3959
I have two displays in portrait mode sitting side by side to create a large square desktop. In extended desktop mode, I set one to Portrait, and the other to Portrait (Flipped). I do this as the monitors have thin borders on the tops and sides, but thick borders along the bottom. By setting them Top<>Top I minimize that border.
However, when I go to combine the displays they are always set to the same orientation. Forcing me to arrange them Top<>Bottom and have a large border between the screens.
Can this be resolved?

Hello Mermilio,
We understand that you are having issues when combining the displays.
To better understand your issue, please provide me with the following:
- Take a picture of the two displays on the combined mode showing the problem.
- Provide me with the Monitor model you have.
- Create a report using the two following apps:
- Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU)
- Download the Intel SSU
- Open the application and click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
- Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
- To save your scan: click on "Next"; then "Save."
- Intel® Graphics Command Center:
- Open the Intel Graphics Command Center
- Navigate to the Support tab
- Select System Diagnostic
- Click Generate Report
- Select Save and name the output file.

Hello Mermilio,

After reviewing this matter, we have confirmed that this is an expected behavior. We have a guide that shares the steps on how to combine the displays.

So it seems that Intel are confirming that you can't combine displays properly if one is flipped? It seems a common problem across board for Intel combine. Can you check if the engineers plan to resolve this so a flipped screen stays flipped when combined. I see the standard reply is to ask for information, but it seems this is not hardware specific and a limitation of intel command centre ability to properly combine displays?
