hi i have an acer veriton m2631
it's specs are :
intel core i3 4130 3.4 ghz
intel hd graphics 4400
4 gb ddr3 of ram
500 gb seagate barracuda hdd
i have set the vram to 512 mb with that 4 gb of ram then i saw an article said that i can set it to 1024 mb or more if i have 8gb of ram
so i bought an other 4 gb and when i entred the bios and tried to set it to 1gb vram the bios didn't show it what can i do to set it to 1gb

Note that the Intel® graphics controllers uses shared memory that is taken from the RAM memory installed on your computer.
The feature that sets the amount of memory that is used for video is called Intel® Dynamic Video Memory Technology and this will make the graphics controller only to use the amount of RAM memory that it requires to run the different applications or software's.
I am afraid to say that there is no way to preset this to an specific value; however, you can limit the maximum memory that it can take only. You will see this option usually in BIOS and you will have 3 options, 128MB, 256MB and maximum DVMT. Other values can be found as 512MB, etc but this depends on the motherboard manufacturer, the options available at the BIOS and the amount of RAM memory installed on your computer.
