My driver keeps crashing and recovering, and this has become increasingly frequent. There were at least half a dozen crashes last night. Whenever I try to update the driver, I get the message that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements. This computer originally came with Windows 8 (64-bit), but it did not want to to update the driver then either. I cannot remember if there were driver crashes then too, but they did not become too frequent until very recently.

Hi Arrohon,
Before updating the graphics drivers, verify if your laptop manufacturer released a newer BIOS version and chipset driver. Then, try with the latest version 15.40.22.4424 Date: 4/29/2016.

If problem continues, download and send me the results of Intel® System Support Utility

I went to HP's website and found the driver page for my specific computer when you posted your first response. I tried to update all the drivers that I could, but did not see a BIOS at all. I remember seeing one in the past, and have updated the BIOS at least once since I got this computer. I just now tried installing the driver update from the link you posted. It resulted in an error that the driver isn't validated for this computer, and to obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. However, when I tried installing the drivers when I was looking for the BIOS, I got the exact same error despite that driver coming directly from HP's page for my specific computer.

Hi Arrohon,
Pre-built systems require customized drivers from the laptop manufacturers. Now, on Windows® 10, it is easier and recommended to install the latest drivers provided with Windows 10 update utility.
Your computer has hybrid graphics; it means Intel graphics works together with Nvidia graphics. It is necessary to install both.
I recommend you to uninstall and delete the current drivers first from device manager then, install the drivers, starting with Intel graphics driver.
According to Hewlett Packard the latest graphics drivers for both graphics card on your computer are:
Intel HD Graphics 4600 Driver rev. 10.18.15.4248
NVIDIA Graphics Driver (GeForce GT 750M) rev. 10.18.13.5324

Uninstalling the drivers first worked. Hopefully that will solve the crashing. Thank you!
