hi

i have a surface pro 3 bug using http://www.blender.org/ blender 3d software in which i can't select certain widgets, please see this:

what axis work in text:

Axis Y in -Z

Axis X in -Y

Axis Z in +Y

the blender 3d https://developer.blender.org/T44299 developers confirmed it's a drivers bug, any way to fix that?

I am also following this issue and the report bat3a made with Intel. It applies to the mouse and the pen. This is definitely an inconvenience for any artist hoping to use Blender on the Surface 3. Granted, I was able to get this very problem fixed by upgrading to Windows 10. Though the update seems to fix the rotate manipulator occlusion issue, I think it would be ideal to have a driver fix without relying on a full OS upgrade. I am probably on the same configuration as bat3a (or very close).

Surface Pro 3

i7 processor

Intel HD 5000 card

For those following this issue, the Windows 10 update combined with some tweaking of the Radial Menu software seems to be just enough to make Blender usable in a sans-keyboard setting IMHO.

Now that the Surface Pro 4 is out, I worry that Surf 3 users will be forgotten.

I know someone who is on a Surface Pro 4 (ships with Windows 10) and would be curious to see how Blender runs with his hardware.

I can circle back around if I find out anything regarding the newer hardware.

I suspect Cintiq Companion users are going through similar woes due to similar/same integrated Intel card, but would be interested hear feedback from someone.

Having the same problem on the surface 3. It makes blender almost unusable, which is a shame because it's my only option right now for 3D software.

Hi, Peers:

I would like to check some things about this matter.

First, the systems that you are currently using, gather up some information from them, this can be done with the SSU tool.

How to use and create a report with that tool?

-Access: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

-Download the utility

-Scan your system with the utility

-Export the report (hit next and then save) and attach it to your answer with the advanced editor option (reply button and then check upper right corner)

Then, some remaining info is to be provided with this chart: /thread/77761 https://communities.intel.com/thread/77761

Additionally, may I know, are you currently using the latest graphics drivers for Intel HD Graphics 4400?

Here the link to download them: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26079/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81497 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26079/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81497

If issues are present whilst installing them, please follow this installation method: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html

NOTE: Please do add all the information you have related to what the issue is, how to replicate it and how to recognize it.

Hope I can hear from you guys soon 🙂
