Hi, I recently downloaded this optional update "Intel Corporation - Display - 27.20.100.8477". I tried to search the internet but find nothing about it on this version, no description and it doesn't even show up on the Windows Update catalog. Can you tell me something about it?

I won't comment on the baloney going on up the road in Redmond (I am in Oregon).

As for release notes, you can access them via the download pages in the Intel Download Center. Simply open https://downloadcenter.intel.com and search for "DCH" and you should get a hit for the download page for the DCH Graphics  Drivers.

Here's what that search currently produces: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/search.html?ws=text#q=DCH&t=Downloads&layout=table

Here's the page for the latest DCH Graphics drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29988/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?wapkw=DCH

Note that, on the left, there are links for other versions and, on the right, a detailed description as well as links for the Read-Me and Release-Notes files. I agree the release notes could be a lot better.

Hope this helps,

OEM release.  Contact your system manufacturer.

Doc (not an Intel employee or contractor)

Thank you for answering. I checked on my laptop manufacturer's site but see nothing about it on this version. The last one that came out, on their website, is 26.20.100.7325. Could it be that they need to update the site?

If this is a laptop, you should stick with the drivers provided by your laptop vendor as they may be customized. If you absolutely need a later release, you need to be asking your laptop vendor to make such a release available.

Unfortunately, if your laptop is a year or two old, I rather doubt the vendor will be willing to put much work into making a newer version available, but this is between you and them.

Yes, I have a laptop. More than anything else I wanted to understand why I could not see the description or improvements of this version in the update catalog or on the internet. I don't want another version, it was just to know what improvements this version brought, as I downloaded it from windows update. More than anything else it seems to me a fantastic update, since it seems that there is only me on the internet xD
