For the last few days, the intel iris graphic driver is having some problems. When I start my computer the screen goes blank and comes back with this continuous also flicker. I am attaching a video.  It does not continue in safe mode. The last time I uninstall the latest driver update and go back to the older version then the problem was solved. Can anyone tell me why it is happening and how to fix it?

Hello utuputu,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We understand that you are experiencing the flickering issue.

To have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

  • What driver version are you installing?
  • What installation method are you using?
  • Does the issue occur if you try using an external monitor/TV?
  • Based on your issue, it seems that your system has an Nvidia graphics card. If it is correct, can you try disabling the Nvidia graphics and only using the Integrated GPU?
  • Create a system report using the Intel®️ System Support Utility (Intel®️ SSU)
    • Download the Intel SSU
    • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel®️ SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."
