lenovo t450 not detect second monitor

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to understand better your environment, could you please provide the following information?

 

1- Did this configuration with the second monitor work fine before? Was there any software, Windows® update, driver or hardware change when the issue started?

 

2- Where do you see the monitor is not detected?

 

3- Monitor brand and model:

 

4- How are you connecting the "second monitor" to the laptop? please provide details: cable type, adapter, dongles, or docking?; video ports in use on both sides (laptop and display).

 

5- Have you tried a different monitor or different cables?

 

6- With the second monitor connected to the laptop, please provide a Report for Intel® Graphics Drivers following the steps on the below link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html

 

7- DxDiag* report following these steps:

 

  • In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.
  • In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.
  • Click on Save All Information.
  • Open the report.
  • Use the option "save all information" to save the .TXT file.
  • Attach the report .TXT file to this thread. 

 

To attach a file, you must click the “Attach” option on the bottom left-hand corner of the response box.
