I have a HP 608 G1 pro tablet, I got only 1024*768 screen resolution when connected to a HDMI display using a Microsoft display dock.

Hello hlovbeyond:
The Intel® x5-Z8500 processor supports 3840x2160 as max resolution on HDMI.
The Microsoft® display dock supports 1920 x 1080 as max resolution, so you should be able to use that resolution at least.
So, based on that, what is the model of the monitor that is attached to the Microsoft display dock?
For this type of product: HP® 608 G1 pro tablet, the drivers are provided by the manufacturer, in this case HP®.
I checked on HP's download page looking for the latest graphics driver, I saw different drivers for Windows® 8.1 and 10, but none of them belong to video, graphics or display, here is the link so you can confirm it:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=7484085&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4192 http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=7484085&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4192
Most of the times that indicates, that the graphics driver came as the inbox driver in Windows®, meaning that it is included on the Windows® installation.
So, at this point, we recommend to install all the Windows® updates that are available.
Any questions, please let me know.

Hi Alberto,
thanks for the response and for your clear explanation. I have checked that I've all the windows 10 updated drivers. The tablet has the proper resolution. The problem is when connected to the dock, is there any generic graphic drivers for the Atom x5-z8500 which is what the tablet has?

Hello hlovbeyond:
Let me apologize for any inconvenience, but in this case the manufacturer of the laptop is the one that might have a generic driver, so, the best thing to do n order to find that out will be to get in contact with HP directly.
