Hi Intel Community,
I’m using an HP Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop with the following specs:
- Processor: Intel Core i5-12450H
- RAM: 16GB (with 4GB dedicated)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
- Storage: 512GB SSD
While launching a game, the laptop suddenly stopped working. Now, both the power button and battery light blink once when I try to turn it on, but the system won’t boot. I suspect the microchip or motherboard might be damaged, but I’d appreciate insights or troubleshooting steps to confirm the root cause.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or know what might be causing this? Additionally, any advice on repairing or replacing the processor or motherboard would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!

You need to discuss this with HP.
