refresh rate error

laptop: asus Tuf Gaming F15 (fx506li)

works fine when display is 60hz

but when i turn on 144hz - blank screen

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:  


1. Were you able to set your laptop to 144Hz before without issues?

2. What is the exact CPU that you have?

3. Is the issue present with Asus or Intel drivers?

4. What is the resolution that you are testing?

5. What is the BIOS version?

6. What is the operating system installed as well as the version and build?

7. Are you using the HDR option?

thanks for your reply,

found the cause of problem. i have updated asus bios, which change their default bios settings. i am unable to change bios settings as bios settings are not supported for external screen. for now, i installed some application which manual reduces my refresh rate to 120 hz.
