resizeable bar not detected

i am installing a arc b580, i have nothing but problems. i have changed my hard drive from mbr to gpt. i went into bios and changed csm(legacy} to uefi. i turned on safe boot, enabled re sizable bar and 4g. still nothing. watched some youtube video that recommended turning 4g and resizable bar on and off. still nothing.

the build of the pc is gigabyte b450m ds3h, amd ryzen 5600g with radeon, 3901mhz 6 cores 12 logical processors. the bios is up to date. 32gb of ram. it has windows 10 operating system.  microsoft pc health said it is capable of windows 11, soon to be installed.

i have applied all obvious fixes, the card is lit up in the tower, as if it is working, but it is not.

i just bought this today and spent 8 hours trying to get this going for my son.

does anyone have any ideas?

Hi jackytars,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:

  1. Can you please check if the PCIe is not showing unknown in the Device manager while the resizable bar is enabled in the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS)?
  2. To be more familiar with your current configuration, kindly please share with us your SSU logs.
