A770 Battlefield6 Open Beat cannot run the game.

The game only gets stuck at the map loading screen.

My graphics driver is 32.0.101.6987.

Please fix it as soon as possible.

I have the same problem with A750.But there was one time,I succeed entering the game with a small map(forget its name),so I guess the error should be about the map.

No, the main issue is the compatibility problem with our A770 or A750 graphics card, which makes it almost impossible for us to load games.

I have this issue as well on my A770. I commented more information in this EA forum thread.

Edit: Adding the information here as well.

I'm having this issue as well with the Intel Arc A770 16 GB. I tried both the latest and previous Intel graphics drivers, same issue with both. My entire system becomes unresponsive when loading into a map, seemingly always on the same step in the loading process. The entire system stops responding to input, all monitors are frozen, and I have to power off the system to make it work again. I have tried waiting for 30+ minutes when it becomes unresponsive, but it doesn't matter. I am able to enter the shooting range without issue, though. It happens when loading into seemingly any map and game mode except the shooting range.

I've tried:

  • Verifying game files in Steam
  • Reinstalling the game through Steam
  • Adding exceptions to all security features for Battlefield 6 in Windows' security settings
  • Many reboots
  • Rolling back graphics drivers
  • Updating Windows using Windows Update

GPU: Intel Arc A770 16 GB (no overclocks)
CPU: Intel Core i5-13600K @ 3.5 GHz (no overclocks)
RAM: 64 GB DDR5 @ 5600 MT/s (XMP 2.0 is enabled)
OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.4770

I tried disabling everything except XeSS upscaling, which I set to ultra performance. The system only became unresponsive momentarily this time, and the game actually gave me an error message, which is different from my other attempts.

I also noticed that I am unable to disable the XeSS low-latency feature in the game settings, as the game crashes with a similar error every time I try to do so:

Edit: Disabling the low-latency feature in the Intel Graphics Software allows me to disable it in-game without crashing.
Edit 2: The game still crashes when loading in to a map with the low-latency feature disabled.
Edit 3: Running the game as administrator makes no difference.

When the game crashes in the loading screen, both my monitors go black for a moment, so it seems to me like the game is causing the graphics driver to crash fully. I also got a slightly different error when crashing this time.

I managed to make the game work by disabling the low-latency feature in the Intel Graphics Software, and then setting the following in-game settings and then restarting the game. The game loads into any map now, and it seems to run smoothly. I suspect XeSS was the issue. The graphics settings in the non-advanced menu seem to work regardless of what they are set to.

Edit: Seems like only some maps work :c

Having a similar issue on A750. The game causes my entire PC to crash or become unresponsive once I load into a match, and I have to perform a hard restart. I've tested both the newest and older drivers, but the issue persists. I managed to load into one game after setting it to windowed mode, but even then it still crashes. It's a gamble whether the game loads or not. So I can only load into a map called "Kings Battery" If i recall correctly.

After so many years, Intel **bleep** up again. They don't give a rat's ass about our support. So I won't be upgrading to their new GPU. I will go back to Nvidia. Sick of this **bleep**. I have run out of patience.

I feel like a fool; my friends don't have problems with games. I decided to give Intel a chance back in 2022. It is enough. Good luck all.

To fix the crashing issues go to the intel control panel -> Games -> Manually Add Game -> Browse to your battlefield 6 beta Install Directory and select bf6event.exe. Go to the newly created bf6event.exe profile Settings -> Game Compatibility and Select Advanced. This should fix the crashing issues.

This was tested on Intel Arc A770 LE 16GB using latest Driver 32.0.101.6987.

This fix only works on the old intel control panel.

Could you elaborate? I added it to the profile but I don't see profile Settings -> Game Compatibility and Select Advanced

Confirm that this works. Be be sure to click custom when using an old install driver and just use the Old Arc Control panel, not drivers.

And why they hell did intel decide to go away from this older control panel. SO much better....

Hi Veneno,

Thank you for posting in our Community. I understand how inconvenient it is when a game fails to load, especially during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta. To help us investigate and identify the root cause, could you please provide the following details:

  • The exact version of the game client and platform (e.g., EA App, Steam) you are using
  • Have you tried verifying or repairing the game files through the game platform?
  • Does the issue occur every time you launch the game or only in specific situations?
  • Have you recently made any changes to your system, such as Windows updates or hardware changes, before the problem started?

I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.
If you've already taken any steps to resolve this issue before reaching out, please share those details with me so I can avoid repeating any unnecessary actions.

Thank you very much for your and the technical team's unremitting efforts. After I replied to you, I immediately updated the driver upon discovering it, and then I can play the game smoothly.
Occasionally, there may be a green gray screen phenomenon during battles, which usually lasts only 1 to 2 seconds and immediately returns to normal.
And sometimes there may be occasional crashes or crashes, mostly due to incomplete beta testing, which should not have much to do with your company. This situation may require EA to improve more.

Hello Veneno,

Thank you for your kind words and for updating us on the progress. We’re glad to hear that updating the driver has allowed you to play the game smoothly.

Regarding the brief green/gray screen flashes and the occasional crashes, we appreciate you sharing these details. While these issues may indeed be related to the game’s beta status and require EA’s further optimization, we will still document your feedback and observations to help improve overall compatibility.

In the meantime, I will look further into the brief green or gray screen flashes and occasional crashes you’ve reported. Should these issues recur or worsen, please feel free to contact me so we can work together toward achieving a smoother gaming experience.
