Crazy but listen, when I use this video card with the latest drivers, Google chrome browser takes 4 seconds before it shows a page. It's not a Win 10 or 11 problem. Tried both. It's not a Microsoft Edge problem, Opera problem either. Only if I use Chrome. Once I am in chrome I can browse anywhere at normal speeds. Absolutely no issues, sound, video, you tube, what ever.
I know it's not worth complaining. But after having Nvidia cards like forever and never having an issue after clicking the Chrome app. When I click the app it should open immediately like it did with my last 2 or 3 Nvidia cards.
I was looking to upgrade the Nvidia card because the 1650Super is 3 years old. I looked at a 4060ti but decided on the ARC. I'm really having second thoughts and it's only 2 days old. All because of being a little impatient over 4 seconds.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. I was able to solve the problem by turning off H/Ware acceleration in chrome settings. Loads immediately now. Turned back on and takes 4 seconds to load. I am really considering returning the Intel ARC. Only because the card came out in 2022 and I found more issues from other gamers with this card. Not all bad. Still, I thought cool Intel i5 12400f CPU with Intel GPU. What a combination. Wrong. It's a new build I5 12400f with the ARC GPU. Coming from I3 9100f with a 1650 Super EVGA GPU. The games look a bit better but having 2nd thoughts on a non NVIDIA card.
Thanks again for the input so quickly.

Hello jpl572103,
Please be advised that this is a known issue, and still currently investigating it. Kindly refer to It Takes Longer to Open Applications After Updating the Intel® Arc™ Graphics Driver . I'll post an update once available.
Edit: fixed the link's URL so it goes to the correct site.

Hello jpl572103,
Good day!
The issue has been fixed using the latest driver. Please download Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6632. It would be best to use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
Let me know the outcome to determine if the issue persists.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello jpl572103,
I apologize for sharing a link that is used internally. I just hope to inform you that this issue has already been resolved, and Intel has included the fix on graphics driver 32.0.101.6632. Download and install this or a newer driver. We've received a lot of positive feedback that shows the issue with the slow loading of applications has been fixed with this driver.
Sharing this link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000100635/graphics.html
I hope to inform you that I am eager to hear your feedback on this fix, but I'll proceed to close this case since I haven't been able to receive your feedback from several days now.
