My monitor is connected to 1st DisplayPort output of A750. When I was watching Youtube video (using Firefox 116.0.3 64bit) and seeking, I noticed that there was a short audio silence (1~3 secs) after the video starts to play. For example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leIK1aUOF-Q
I can reproduce this issue by pressing "5" key to jump to 50% of video. Every time I pressed "5", I can see the video jumps, starts to play, but no music for about 3 secs.
I also tried:
- Connect my monitor via HDMI
- Watch Youtube video using Chrome via DisplayPort
Interestingly there is no such issue. The music just goes well.
Here is my configuration:
- OS: Windows 10 22H2 19045.3324
- CPU: AMD R5-3600
- MB: Gigabyte A520M
- Video: Intel Arc A750, driver 31.0.101.4644, PAR enabled
- Monitor: Philips 288E2, 4K@60

Hello Leav,
Thanks for the information provided.
Based on your system report, we noticed that your graphics driver is 31.0.101.4644. There is a new driver version, 31.0.101.4669, and we recommend you install the new driver version. To discard the possibility that the issue is being caused by a previous driver file, try running the Display Driver Uninstaller. Check How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver for instructions. The DDU tool will eliminate all drivers and leftover files from previous driver versions.
Best regards,
Jean O.

Hi Jean,
Updated to 31.0.101.4669. The issue still exists.
BTW I read the release notes and no DisplayPort audio updates are mentioned.

Hi Jean,
So it seems like an OS issue.
I tested the new driver on Win10 22H2. This audio issue still exists. Unfortunately I have no plan to upgrade to Win11, so I can't confirm if this issue was fixed. Hope Intel can push MS to patch Win10 also.
