Hi Hugo
By not responding I mean the application does not open, at all. No responding is not the correct thing to say because for not responding the application has to open and then stop working. Arc Control just didn't open at all.

Hello Diablosfiji
Thank you for the clarifications on this issue. Since the issue is related to Arc Control not opening at all I would advise that you do a clean installation of the latest driver version 31.0.101.4577 using Display Driver Uninstaller to make sure previous files that might be corrupted can get deleted.
I see you mentioned Arc Control is not working in drivers 4577 and 4578 to check for possible regression issues, please let us know the version of the driver that was working for you. The previous driver version 31.0.101.4575 is bundled with the same version of Arc Control as the newer drivers which is v1.70.5084.2. Was driver 4575 working for you?
If the issue still happens after reinstalling the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller, please share with us a log file from our Intel® System Support Utility Tool so we can get more detailed information on your system configuration.
Best Regards

Hi Hugo
I do remember using IDSA to do driver updates, so I cannot be sure of which version of drivers I was using when it was stable. Sadly, I don't use Arc Control frequently enough to know when exactly Control stopped functioning.
Sadly been working and sleeping too much to do a new driver update, but will get this done tomorrow and then update you.

Hello Diablosfiji
We wanted to check back on this and ask if you had the chance to update and test the previously recommended driver. Also, I wanted to let you know there is even a newer driver update version 31.0.101.4644 so I would recommend you in case the issue persists to also try this new version since it is bundled with a new version of the Arc Control Software. You can follow the instructions to install the driver using Display Driver Unisntalelr as well.

Hi Hugo
Ran DDU and installed Version: Version: 31.0.101.4642, then updated to 31.0.101.4644. Arc Control is working fine. A huge thanks to you and the rest of the team. BTW is there a way to switch off the RGB? I could not find the option on Arc Control

Hello Diablosfiji
Thank you for letting us know, it is great to hear the Arc Control software is now working fine. Answering your question in regards to the RGB LEDs on your GPU you will need to first connect the 3-pin cable from your GPU to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard and afterward download the Intel® Arc™ RGB Controller Software to control the LEDs behavior or turn it off. Check the following articles with a guide and download links to configure the LEDs properly:
How Do I Connect the RGB Controller with an Intel® Arc™ A770 Graphics Limited Edition Card?
Since the issue with Arc Control is now resolved, please let us know if you have further questions related to that topic or if you would like to close this thread.
