Hello. Recently built a new ''budget'' build with future upgrade capabilities.
Having very inconsistent poor performance on Escape From Tarkov with my build.
Seeing and have spoken to other people with similar builds that average higher fps than I've been able to thus far. Have ran the Intel Presentmon capture feature numerous times in different games/instances/settings to get an idea of my averages, but they seem to be all over the place... 1 min my avg. fps will come back as 80 then running a second test running the same route in game will come back as 59 avg fps. All minimum settings. 1920x1080p Resolution. I don't use any of the FSR or TSR or Scaling settings. Have toyed with them all with negative outcomes. Only one that was somewhat promising was putting fsr 3 on balanced which gave me a few extra frames seemingly.
Raising settings to medium makes it completely unplayable. ~20fps avg.
I understand Tarkov is CPU intensive. I also understand it's not the best optimized game, but I do feel that I should be able to manage better performance.
Everything is up to date GPU Drivers. AMD Drivers. Bios updated. Thermals are normal. No overclocking.
MOBO: Tuf x670e wifi
GPU: Sparkle Arc-B580
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x
RAM: G.skill flare x5 32gb ddr5
SSD:sony 990 pro1tb nvme SSD
PSU: 750w Core Reactor xpg
Monitor: 1920x1080p 240hz Monitor
OS: Windows 11 pro
Any help/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
p.s - in screenshots attached, screenshot 3 you can see the inconsistency, where at some moments it performs fine, and then others not. very confused.

Hi, downbadchad.
Thank you for posting in our Community. I understand that you're experiencing quite a bit of inconsistency with your performance in Escape from Tarkov, especially given the build you have. I can see also that you've checked your thermals and kept everything up to date, and those are important steps. Escape from Tarkov is indeed CPU-intensive, and even though you have a powerful CPU like the Ryzen 5 7600X, there could be moments where the CPU becomes a bottleneck, especially in busy areas.
Knowing your processor, RAM, and Chipset is a good start, but I could still use more information about your system configuration such as the exact graphics driver. Please run the Intel SSU report and share the results with me so I can verify details such as OS build, driver version, errors logged at a system level, etc.
Additionally, could you please provide CapFrameX data for this game? This will allow us to analyze performance metrics in more detail and identify any potential issues. Ideally, please share a CapFrameX file that includes at least 5 minutes of gameplay.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.
