Audio Output Bug [again]

Recently my desktop was unexpectedly unplugged from power while performing cable management.

I am facing a similar problem. Though the problem in the previous thread was gratefully solved, today I noticed a new problem that is equivalent to the issue described in the previous thread.

My cable modem/internet connection is back online and my dell desktop is wired more suitably. I am using the same hdmi cable with display port adapter connected to the ARC port on the television HDMI input, and the displayport hdmi adapter is connected to the motherboard displayport Output on the desktop. that has not changed.

I removed redundant hdmi cables between the rtx3080 and the television.

Here is a picture of the problem; i cannot output audio from the displayport on the desktop to the hdmi port on the tv

never mind; the issue is fixed. I updated my iPhone using Apple devices app.

somehow related to cross device experience host and HDR? the plot thickens, lol!

will post updates to this thread if any problems crop up later.
