CS2 Perfomance with the Arc A750

I have a750 and ryzen 5 5600 and I am getting low fps. I was playing everything on low stretched 4:3 on the x960 res and the game jumps from 200 to 100 to 90 fps constantly no constant fps. I don't know if the problem is on arc drivers or in cs2. The fps in low-high is basically same. A750 should be outperforming rtx 3050, but it isn't.

Hi all,

there can sometimes be issues with games using DX10 or lower due to the Alchemist cards only natively supporting DX11 & 12. I've had a similar issue with Splinter Cell: Conviction before, which using ForceD3D9on12 fixed - maybe you'd like to give that a try?

You just have to open the game folders (navigate to them or while in Steam right-click on the game, "Manage", "Browse local files") and drop the files from the ForceD3D9on12 .zip file to the folder where the game executable resides.

You can download that from here: https://github.com/narzoul/ForceD3D9On12/releases/download/v1.0.0/ForceD3D9On12-v1.0.0.zip These files just enforce using the ForceD3D9on12 compatibility layer which is already included with Windows 10 and 11.

Please try it out if you're able to and reply if problems persist.

Best regards,

It's a bottleneck with your cpu majorly, check your usage of both your cpu and gpu, cs2 you must be playing on low settings, try using a bit more high settings. In valorant it happens to me too, my mid graphics and low graphics fps are the same because I am running my a770 with a intel i5 10th gen cpu... At 1080p there isn't bottleneck but at 1440*900 4:3 res it is a bottleneck you can see for yourself through the bottleneck calculator for approx value. But a bottleneck calculator cant replicate cs2. Do tell me if the situation persists which most probably will.
