Could not open any old game.

When I was using the A750 graphics card, I tried to open some old games (see the attached picture for details). When they were opened, they first had a white screen and then crashed (see the video). However, if I started some DX11 and 12 games, they could run normally (such as Hatsuyuki Sakura and Wuthering Waves). I have installed the official version of the driver, and most of the runtime can be installed, and tried to run in compatibility mode, but it didn't work. (There are two other games. Left 4 Dead 2 runs normally after adding "vulkan" to the startup options. Nekopara runs normally after using Windows 8 mode, but the above method does not work for the remaining two games.) I am almost going crazy. .

1. What are the game launcher of the affected games?
2. When did you purchased your Arc A750?
3. Was it working fine before?
4. Have you also tried updating the BIOS of your motherboard?

Hi Hoshino,

there can sometimes be issues with games using DX10 or lower due to the Alchemist cards only natively supporting DX11 & 12. I've had a similar issue with Splinter Cell: Conviction before, which using ForceD3D9on12 fixed - maybe you'd like to give that a try?

You just have to open the game folders (navigate to them or while in Steam right-click on the game, "Manage", "Browse local files") and drop the files from the ForceD3D9on12 .zip file to the folder where the game executable resides.

You can download that from here: https://github.com/narzoul/ForceD3D9On12/releases/download/v1.0.0/ForceD3D9On12-v1.0.0.zip These files just enforce using the ForceD3D9on12 compatibility layer which is already included with Windows 10 and 11.

Please try it out if you're able to and reply if problems persist.

thanks for help，But i think it's probably the problems of steam（maybe vac），Because when i try to open the same game at another offical launcher and it works well.

That definitely seems likely then, or if the affected games aren't online multiplayer ones it might also be an issue with the SteamWorks (= Steam DRM system) integration. Verifiyng the game files in Steam might fix those issues.
