Been getting some weird issues when playing Dying Light 2 at 1440p:
- - Serious flashing/flickering when using XeSS at 2560x1440p. Quality preset is not too bad, but balanced and performance are unplayable due to the constant rapid rainbow flashes
- - The game crashes to desktop while playing randomly.
- - The game throws me a BSOD if trying to start using DX11 (DRIVER_DMA_VIOLATION)
I have tried reinstalling drivers (currently at 4824), the game, changing nearly all game settings (disabling ambient occlusion helps a bit for flickering).
Despite these issues the game "runs well"- always at high FPS.
My system:
i5 12600k
2x 16gb 2400mhz
2x 1tb ssd
Arc A770 16gb
Let me know if you need any more details, I have attached the most recent game crash log, the SSU report, and a video of the issues in question

Hello marcoV,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
I see on the SSU you attached that the graphics driver and system are up to date, however, to check if the behavior changes please try the following steps and answer the questions below:
- Does the issue happen with older drivers?
- Did you notice if the issue started after an update or change?
- Clean install the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to version 31.0.101.4824. For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
- If the issue persists repeat the previous steps, but this time with an older driver, version 31.0.101.4676.
Please let me know the results.

Hi Andres, thanks for getting back to me.
The issues persists after clean driver installation using DDU of either version you posted.
This issue first appeared for me in April this year. Possibly after the "Gut Feeling" game update (April 20)
I uninstalled the game thinking it should be fixed by the next time I decide to play
Do you have any other tips?
Cheers

Hi Andres,
Just wanted to check in on this and see if you were able to reproduce the issue on your end.
There was a game update yesterday but after testing it out the issues are still present.
Thanks,
