ETA on no longer needing to use DDU for updates?

Hi there.
For ages when I have been installing driver updates, I've had to use DDU for Intel Arc Control to properly work.
If I do not use DDU, it will be unable to find new drivers and constantly time out.
Intel Arc has been the only time I've had to consistently use DDU when installing drivers for the same GPU brand.
It can be tedious to constantly have to use it.

Is there any time frame on when this bug will be fixed with installing drivers through the software, and not having to use DDU?

Thank you

Hi, Vampurrr.

Thank you for posting in our Intel communities.

We usually use DDU when we do encounter driver update issues similar to what you are currently encountering. To further help us understand the issue you encounter, please run our SSU tool to generate your system information (e.g. processor, graphics, drivers installed, etc). You can follow the steps in this link: (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057926/memory-and-storage.html) and send us the file generated.

I want to share with you this article: (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000096682/graphics.html) in relation to the timeout error in Intel Arc Control.

I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
