Anybody having his hands on the gfx_win_101.4572 driver it includes a firmware update if you install it.

My question is it safe to install it? I got my hands on the driver but want to check first before I try it out.

I did install the driver and yes it upgraded the vbios from:

ARC a770 bios version.png

ARC a770 bios version_new.png

So I ended up with vbios 20.1064.0

I found the driver on a graphics forum I believe it's a insider driver because of the title of the topic on that forum

Hello EndBase,

We appreciate your patience.

Intel only recommends downloading and installing drivers from Intel's official sources e.g. Intel Driver & Support Assistant, downloadcenter.intel.com. Any software obtained from a 3rd party entity or site can contain malicious code and puts your personal data or computer at risk, therefore the file you mentioned hosted on a 3rd party site may be dangerous and it is not validated by Intel
