Game Support - Trouble with old FNAF games.

To whomever this may concern,

I've been having issues with some of the older Five Night at Freddy's games (FNAF 1 and FNAF Pizzeria)  and am unsure of what the reason could be except for the Intel Arc A770 GPU. I've tried every possible solution of 'fixing' the game from sources online and even tried a clean install of the Intel graphics drivers with DDU in safe mode. This only happened when I purchased a new computer pre-built with the Arc inside. The issue is as follows:

- Whenever loading into one of the old FNAF games, one of two issues occur. Either 1) the game only shows up in intervals of every 6-7 seconds and lasts for only about two seconds or 2) the screen displays black and white flickering bars that move from left to right on the screen.

- No error messages are ever displayed and game does not crash. Visual is the only issue.

- The game is unplayable - as this always happens regardless of alternative settings that I apply to the game  (windowed, different resolution, etc).

- Audio works fine.

- FNAF Security Breach (newer game) works fine.

- Does not change if older/newer driver is installed (currently using latest WHQL driver 31.0.101.4972 released 11/17/2023)

- Distribution service is from Steam.

- The games are up to date.

Intel SSU text doc is attached.

Hello MomsWife,

Thank you for your patience. The issue with FNAF 1 and FNAF Pizzeria has been resolved with Intel's latest update on the Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows* version: 32.0.101.5768 WHQL Certified (Latest)

The driver can be downloaded here: Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*

May I know if you still encounter issues with the games after trying the latest graphics driver?

Best regards,

We want to inform you that Intel is currently investigating the graphical problem that occurs while playing some Five Nights at Freddy's games. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an estimated timeline or update on this yet, but rest assured that we are looking into it internally. We will post an update as soon as we have more information.
