Intel Arc A770 DirectX Error - EA Madden NFL 25

Hello, I am experiencing a DirectX error that is causing the game to crash. The game runs fine within the menus but crashes immediately otherwise. I have clean installed the latest driver as seen below

Navigate through the menu's fine, choose a game and as soon as the playable game would load. Crash!

 

But I get a Graphics card removed error! WFT?

I've been getting the same error. I'm not sure if this GPU is compatible with the game. Hopefully there's a fix.

This is a driver issue related to intel. It happens on every new release. I don't know if it's arrogance or ignorance but it's not because of the hardware, it is their own failure to support their products. I bleed intel but this is becoming embarrassing, just look at the market. Please provide an update

I put blame on both sides, EA for seemingly not testing it on an intel device.

As much as I like to blame EA for a lot of things, this is on intel. EA is not testing on a device that is used by < 10% of its customers

Hello everyone,

Thank you for reporting this issue. 

I just downloaded the game and I'm testing it on my A770 LE + Windows 11 23H2 and driver 32.0.101.5768. So far I haven't seen the error but I'll continue to play more extensively and report back. See video of my 1st test: https://youtu.be/J61DO6i3W6o

Have you detected any particular action(s) that can trigger the error? Any extra info you can provide me that can help me reproduce the issue would be great.

Edit: please share your Intel SSU report so I can compare your system details vs. mine and perhaps identify what might be triggering this error.

 

FYI, I am very interested in this issue since I have seen a similar error reported by other users on FC 24 (another EA title) but so far I haven't been able to reproduce it. The latest status seem to indicate it is on the app side since it also occurs on other GPU vendors.
