Games Support Suggestion

Can we please get driver support or better driver support for A770 : 

Supreme Commander 2 (Crashes every 5-15 into the game)

Plant VS Zombie Battle for Neighborville (Game is choppy even with DX12 enabled and Shadows)

Days Gone (Broken FPS and Weird artifacts)

Nier Automata (Grass funky jumping bug with Intel)

Call of Duty Modernware 2 (Still needs improvement FPS jumps more than it should)

Detroit Become Human (GPU Not supported)

Beyond Two Souls (Shadows glitching)

Rainbow Six Siege (OPENGL stutters and Vulkan taking 10min just to load the game)

Biomutant (Shadows flickering Stutters) 

Borderlands 3 (DX12 stutters fog and shadow issues) 

VR SUPPORT (Doesn't work)

Windows 11 22H2 has a bit of lag and chop with latest driver Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3802

Better DX9 - DX12 Support

  • About the VR problem, may we know the device/description of the problem/app and its configuration at software/video connection/ error messages so we can investigate about it.
  • About Windows 11 22H2 you state with lag and choppiness, may I know if there’s a particular app / moment that triggers it, Do other drivers works better in your particular case? Can you provide a system recording with this sympton?
  • About gaming, you may find inside Intel® Arc™ Graphics Windows* DCH Driver Released notes information about reported problems /fixes/ enhancements.

For Win 11 nothing out of the ordinary. I used DDU in safe mode to uninstall my old GPU drivers and installed Intel.

Win11 was running fine before. 

 

I wish you could remote PC. When you click start there's a delay before with my old GPU it was much more responsive.

Just daily tasks like opening explorer and web browser there's a delay or stutter. 

Very hard to put into words you just have to be here to believe.

 

Games I mentioned are not in the list unfortunately.

It would be nice though for a driver update that makes it work.

 

Have you and your team considered baking DXVK in the driver as a way to help alleviate some bad driver issues?

  • Did you try other drivers, before version 31.0.101.3490 for instance?
  • About DXVK, definitely I will submit it however I can't promise a deadline/update about it. It would be for consideration purposes.

I think the Engineers improved the DX9 Feature.

However, the issues with the other games are still an issue and new.

 

NEW ISSUES : Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3959 (BROKE the following)

World War Z (No Vulkan support for intel GPU. Massive FPS drops.) Use to work fine with old Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3802

Plant VS Zombie Battle for Neighborville (Broken with DX12 ARTIFACTING and DX11 suffers bad FPS unplayable.)

DX11 games are suffering from Stuttering issues and frame drops.

ARC A770 doesn't do well with shadows with ANY game. (Doesn't matter with API)

Overwatch 2 (Massive Stutter with FSR enabled.)

ARC A770 is using Vulkan but most games doesn't support VULKAN with intel GPU. 

 

Fixed:

Call of Duty Modernware 2 (Stable FPS)

DX9 games play much smoother. 

Windows 11 22H2 no more chop or lag

Supreme Commander 2 (can now play longer without crash)

 

 

Same Issues:

Hi there!

 

DX11 is now broken.

New Update has broken

World War Z (Unplayable)

Most of my DX11 games are no longer working.

DX9 works beautifully!

In terms of Windows 11 responsiveness as you mentioned earlier if used to run better, does it happen with a particular browser/version?


Once you test again the game titles with the new driver, and if the problem persists, please provide the following


Is there other hardware causing bottleneck that you notice?

Let me know the game platforms/distribution service, Quality (Low, Medium, High, Ultra), resolution, Vsync (on/off), Display (Fullscreen/ Windowed / Borderless Windowed), exact moment when it glitches/video recording showing the problems across the games?

Hi Luis,

 

Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3959 

is the cause for DX11 breaking.

DX9 Games have a tremendous boost!
DX11 games however its really Frustrating and VULKAN games are stuttering.

I did a clean install and Clean install of Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.3959

I'm really trying to figure out what's going on with the coding team. 

How do they break a Feature and fix the other.

For the Most part A770 doesn't do well with Shadows. 

You can test it yourself any game with Shadows the A770 struggles with any API.

Can I get a driver that is not on the website? Some ALPHA driver? 

World War Z needs to be working again and ENABLE VULKAN SUPPORT and BRING VR to Intel.

Stable for DX11 and DX12 Games

Not Stable for DX9 games.

However little stability with new titles.

Nothing really changed. 

World War Z still not playable.

Ready or Not will randomly crash.

Hi Luis,

 

I'm sad to report that the GPU died...

I wiped my PC and Resizable Bar will no longer work and I wiped my BIOS and installed the current BIOS update.

No go. 

GPU will not work on my 3 setups I have and unfortunately, I have to return it. 

It was a great experience and privilege to try out an Intel GPU.

GPU powers on indefinitely however it won't display anything.

Tried all ports and went from Display to HDMI and no avail. 

Won't show my BIOS and it bricked my Aorus Motherboard tried using another GPU but just won't work anymore. 

GPU LEDs to power on but the fans don't spin anymore. I didn't do anything but to wipe system with WIN11 reset option.
