Hey Intel,
I've been enjoying my Arc A750 but watching Halo Infinite freeze and crash at the main menu has been aggravating. Before I was using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB and had no issues. But now I'm having these issues with my Arc card. My SSU and screenshot of Arc Drivers currently being used are attached to this report.
+Game: Halo Infinite (Acquired through the Microsoft Xbox app)
+Where does the issue(s) begin and persist? At the main menu and occurs instantly.
+Drivers are the latest WHQL drivers. Beta drivers are not being used.
+Before Installing my Arc A750 and its drivers, I performed the following:
-Downloaded the latest WHQL drivers from Intel's website.
-Uninstalled my RTX 3060 drivers through Windows Uninstall.
-Rebooted Windows into Safe Mode
-Removed ALL AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA drivers using DDU (latest version) obtainted via guru3D. During the entire driver uninstall process, I did NVIDIA last to where I clicked "Clean and Shutdown" (Recommended for changing graphics cards).
-Disconnected my PC from the internet before booting up with the A750 installed.
-Cleaned my Registry using CCLeaner to remove any obsolete entries, then rebooted my PC.
-After booting up and logging on to my PC, I installed the drivers.
I have rebooted my PC three times. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Halo Infinite three times. Halo Infinite still crashes. I repeated the same GPU install/uninstall processes for switching back to my RTX 3060. Halo Infinite loaded with no issues. Repeated GPU processes for reinstalling my A750. Halo Infinite still crashes.
I hope help can come. I want to leave NVIDIA behind but it's hard to when I'm unable to play Halo.
Thank you for taking the time to read this ticket.

Same issue. I recently bought A770 and Halo freezes once it hit enter. Every single time. Worked fine on my rtx3060. Tried beta drivers, previous driver. Driver 4369 as stated above and it still crashes.

What the heck?
Why would you remove a product from your list that was previously very well supported? I get that their workforce for tech support has probably shrunk since the updates but I'd at least focus on not neglecting any hardware (especially if it cuts a fair deal of their player base).
Thanks for sharing this info, this changes a lot in this ongoing issue.

I don't believe Intel GPUs were pulled, they just weren't supported "at this time" per the screen cap here. If you know where they said they pulled support for Intel, please post a link.

They absolutely were since the amount of videos of people playing the game on Intel arc gpus before this issue was reported and the bugs that plagued the game at the time. Glad they found a fix for it though.

Jose,
I really appreciate this update. As I'm getting ready to install Windows 11 on my new gaming PC, I will be downloading the latest posted BETA drivers and will be trying them once my system is up and running.
I cannot thank you and your team enough for working with all of us who are plagued by this issue. I also cannot thank you and your team enough for keeping us up to date with your progress.
Once again, thank you.

Hello Jose,
After installing the beta drivers on my Windows 10 PC, there have been some updates:
- Halo Infinite does not crash and performs like a dream at maximum settings.
Just this morning, I installed Windows 11 Home on my PC (clean installation and not upgrade) with zero changes to the PC's hardware. And a new issue has cropped up:
- Halo Infinite does not crash. However, there are some rendering issues plaguing the game. I have attached a video showing what I mean. The video was captured using the Xbox Game Bar and the rendering issues you see are what's happening in the game. It happens on nearly every single game mode, but not in the main menus or CGI cutscenes.
I have also found a few more issues revolving around the beta drivers, but those will be in a new thread altogether. If there is a proper place to report beta driver issues, guidance would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue with Halo Infinite. I recently purchased the A750 and it is currently in my test rig to see how well the card does with my Steam Library. I have been enjoying the last few weeks running tests and familiarizing myself with this card.
It seems to me that Halo Infinite takes a very long time to load, and when you finally get to the press enter command it disappears to the desktop.
All graphics drivers are ddu'd prior to installing new ones. I have used 4502, 4514 and now am on 4575. So far they all crash to desktop.
I am also getting crashes with Warhammer 40,000 Darktide. The loading screen loads fine and it let's you in game, but locks up after about 30 seconds.
All the other games I've tested run just fine and the graphics are wonderful. I would like to see some sort of digital vibrance setting in the drivers.

If you want digital vibrance, download Intel's Graphics Command Center. If you already have it, which you really should, follow these steps:
- Open Graphics Command Center
- Navigate to Display
- Select Color under the "Connected Displays" area.
- Look for Vividness at the bottom
- Select your preferred level of intensity (It starts at 50, but I set mine to 65). If you are off by one point of your desired setting, you have to click the - or + on either side of the bar. See the screenshot attached to this reply for visual.

Thank you LOG1C-BOM8
Yes I do have GCC. I am a 73 year old Grandpa that maintains four computers in my office for the Grandkids. I am the one that loves to tinker with new or newer stuff.
I do appreciate people like you that help keeping me pointed in the right direction

Not a problem. It's too bad the world has all but forgotten the "you teach me and I teach you" schtick.

Hello everyone!
I am glad to hear that most of you are able to play the game now.
For the remaining issues (video), we are going to investigate that. I will get back to you with some updates soon.
