Idle power consumption.

The current idle power consumption of my a770 graphics card is nearly 50W, whereas the idle power consumption of very old NVIDIA graphics cards, such as the GTX 1070, is below 10W. Is there still room for optimization in the idle power consumption of graphics cards?

how many monitors do you have plugged in?  and do you have aspm enabled in your bios?  also latest bios?
