Intel ARC B580 artefact or something? Throne and Liberty

Heya, I have an issue with my GPU Intel ARC B580 Steel Legend, my plan is to upload this video on my YouTube account, but I am posting it here first to get the right solution.

1. What is this something black in my game floor?
Game: Throne and Liberty

2. Im using Edge browser, and sometimes artefact on my browser too..

3. And when Im using OBS, i hardly find best settings/setup for recording and streaming, because of lag and stuttering using AV1,  x264 or QuickSync H.264 K.Frame 2, B.Frame 2.. when im using  NVIDIA or AMD with same settings/setup, I dont get this kind of issue.

This issue happened after updating driver to .6874 (Win 11 Pro)

Please INTEL, fix this kind of issue, this is embarrassing for content creators.
I know you can do way much better than this, that is why i bought ARC B580 Steel Legend and replaced my 4060 and 6700 xt.

My PC Spec:

CPU: R7 7700
GPU: ARC B580 12GB Steel Legend
STORAGE: S70 Blade NVME 2TB
MOTHERBOARD: Asrock B650 PRO RS
RAM: Gskills DDR5 64GB 6000mhz

Please help once again, thanks in advance.

Hi, BIL123.

Thank you for posting in our Community and for giving Intel a chance to deliver on the trust you’ve placed in Arc graphics. Based on your detailed report, we’re seeing a combination of potential driver-level rendering bugs, browser artifacting, and encoding instability across AV1/x264/QuickSync, all occurring after updating to driver version .6874. To help escalate this effectively, could you please provide the following additional details:

  • Could you kindly confirm if the black floor artifact appears consistently across all maps or zones, or only in specific areas within Throne and Liberty?
  • Have you had a chance to test the game using different rendering APIs, such as DirectX and Vulkan (if the option is available in-game)?
  • Would you be able to share your current in-game graphics settings — particularly for texture quality, shadow detail, and post-processing effects?
  • May I ask if Resizable BAR (ReBAR) is enabled in your system BIOS? This setting is particularly important for optimal Intel Arc GPU performance.
  • Lastly, have you tried updating to the latest available Intel Graphics Driver, version 32.0.101.6876, to see if it improves system behavior or resolves the visual artifacts?

Additionally, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue. For your privacy and security, I have already sent you an email to collect the SSU reports. Once I receive the logs, I can investigate further and provide better assistance. If you've already taken any steps to resolve this issue before reaching out, please share those details with me so I can avoid repeating any unnecessary actions.

Have a nice day!

Heya
Thank you for reached me out and try to helping my issue with ARC B580

First of all i am so sorry im not native American, and im so sorry with my bad english and grammar in the sentences.
Here is the details you ask.

1. So, the black artifact screen on the game floor appeared randomly, sometimes in towns, sometimes inside the dungeons.. but sometimes it does not appear, and couple of hours it suddenly appears again, so I confused what is wrong

2. The game is Throne and Liberty, and it does not have an option to choose DX12 or VULKAN in the graphic settings, so I attached a videos that DX12 ON + XESS ON and DX12 OFF + XESS OFF, and i set the XESS to ultra quality (with afterburner ON, you might see the FPS difference between OFF and ON)

3. I attached the Pictures/Screenshot for the Shadow, post-processing and texture quality.

4. REBAR ON on bios too, as you can see the screenshot of Intel Graphic Software (ReBar ON/checked), and yes after I update the GPU driver to 32.0.101.6876, the black artifact is gone, but im afraid its coming back .. So please make sure this is not gonna happen again.

5. And for OBS recording and streaming, Im not try it yet.. I hope the INTEL ARC team can solve this instability encoding issues, asap.

Lastly, thank you very much once again for reach me out.
Im looking forward for the solutions.

Best Regards,
Bil

Ok, maybe error or something my reply does not showing.. i send again.

So, here is the details you ask..

1. the black screen in floor game (throne and liberty) is randomly appears, sometimes in towns, sometimes inside the dungeons, and random maps in the game, and sometimes not appear, but couple of hours its appears.. so I confused what is wrong

2. throne and liberty does not have an option for VULKAN, but i sent the videos that DX12 OFF + XESS OFF, and DX12 ON + XESS ON.

3. Yes, i sent my in-game graphic settings.

4. Yes, REBAR ON, i sent the screenshot from Intel Graphic Software (it is checked and green highlighted)

5. Yes, after i update the GPU driver to 6876, the black artifact is gone, but im worried it will coming back in the future, so please make sure to the INTEL ARC Team to be sure to fix this issues.

6. For recording and streaming with OBS, as you can see the result of this video below, without DX12 + XESS ON the game feels like laggy and stuttering even i have 60+ fps, and im using monitor 1080p 100hz currently, so FPS capped to my monitor refresh rate, for streaming I dont try yet, please tell the Team to fix this instability encoding issues with codec AV1, x264 and QuickSync H264 k.frame 2, b.frame 2.. thank you very much!

Also, I sent my SSU log too down below along with videos and other screenshots,

Once again, thank you very much for reaching me out and helping me, I hope this issues fixed/solved and not coming back in the future, especially for encoding stability with OBS settings/setup.
Im looking forward for the solutions.

Best Regards,
Bil

Hello, BIL123.

Thank you for your detailed follow-up and for sharing all the requested information, including your in-game settings, videos, screenshots, and SSU log. I sincerely appreciate the time and effort you've taken to provide a clear picture of the issues you're encountering in Throne and Liberty and with OBS recording.

Following the update to driver version 32.0.101.6876, the black artifacts appear to have been resolved. I understand your concern about the potential recurrence and will share your feedback with our Intel® Arc graphics development team to ensure continued stability in future updates.

Regarding OBS, please be guided that we have a new and latest graphics driver version, 32.0.101.6877. I kindly recommend that you update your graphics driver to the latest one. Please let me know the outcome if the issue remains.

Thank you again for your cooperation and support.
