Ever since I updated my Intel ARC and Iris Xe graphics WHQL driver all my games on steam close unexpectedly or crash after a few minutes, I tried everything possible like rolling back the driver uninstalling and reinstalling an older version of the driver, updating my OS and BIOS, setting the game to a lower graphics level, still nothing seems to work, can someone help me please!

My PC info - Dell Inspirion16 5620, 12th Gen Intel core i5-1240P 1.70GHz, Intel Iris Xe graphics,

64-bit OS, 16GB RAM

ello Frank1234,

Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. We understand that you are experiencing issues after updating your graphics driver.

To have a better understanding of your issue, please provide me with the following:

  • What driver version did you install?
  • What driver installation process did you follow?
  • What are the games with issues?
  • We would like to gather more information about your system that will help us troubleshoot your issue, so please, provide us with a report using the Intel System Support Utility (Intel SSU):
    • Open the application and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel SSU will take you to the "Summary View."
    • Click on the menu where it says: "Summary" to change it to "Detailed View."
    • To save your scan: click "Next"; then "Save."

Best regards,
