WHQL Certified Driver Updates on/off Toggle reverts to OFF after turning it on and minimizing, and when selecting another menu item and going back to the Home menu item. It will not stay on ever, and this bug has been there for three driver updates. It is irritating and I NEVER want uncertified drivers installing behind my back compromising system security and causing unwanted operating system behaviors. How could this not be addressed for three consecutive IGS updates?

Hello Geminate,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
To better understand the root of the issue, I would appreciate more information about your system. Please provide the following key details for further investigation:
- Specify the exact driver versions where the issue occurs.
- Share a short video clip demonstrating the issue.
- Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your system configuration so I can thoroughly examine it and offer an accurate solution. You can do this by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. Once the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box for Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When the scan is finished, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt).
- Attach the SSU log file in your reply.
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

It happens on all systems. Driver is always the latest. I don't trust any unknown .exe files on my systems, I don't know how you protect your files and do not trust things that I don't need to run. It has become a very dangerous world data-wise. Thanks

Hi,
I am running Intel Graphics Driver version 32.0.101.6734 (4-3-2025). Like I mentioned before, I do not trust unknown files, nor do I want to test them in a closed environment, so I am not comfortable running SSU.exe. Thank you

Hello Geminate,
Thank you for your prompt response and for sharing the driver version you're currently using. I completely understand your concerns about running unknown files, and I respect your decision to prioritize data security.
To proceed without using the Intel System Support Utility, could you please provide the following information manually? This will help me better understand your system configuration and offer a more accurate solution:
- Desktop PC or a laptop device?
- Motherboard or system device make and model.
- Please specify the operating system version and build number.
- Processor Make/Model.
- Graphics Card make/model (onboard graphics and/or discrete if there is any)
- Total amount of installed memory.
- Any recent changes: Have there been any recent updates or changes to your system that might coincide with the issue?
Additionally, if you could share a short video clip demonstrating the issue, it would be immensely helpful in diagnosing the problem.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I am committed to resolving this issue for you as swiftly as possible.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hi,
Here is a video of the issue. If you turn on WHQL Certified Driver Updates and Minimize Intel Graphics Software to the tray, it turns off also, and if you exit and restart Intel Graphics Software after turning on WHQL Certified Driver Updates it turns off too. Thanks

Hello Geminate,
I want to let you know that we are still working diligently to resolve this issue and would appreciate your assistance in providing the following details:
Thank you for sharing the video file we requested. To accurately replicate the issue, we need the exact model of your computer, along with the processor and graphics card information. The video suggests the graphics card is UHD, likely paired with a 10th generation processor. Please keep this request in mind so we can continue our investigation.
I assure you that SSU logs are not necessary, especially if you're uncomfortable providing them. We only need the computer's make and model, as well as the processor and graphics card details, to thoroughly investigate. Without this information, we may struggle to replicate and address the problem effectively.
I hope you'll reconsider providing this information.
Best regards,
Jeanette C.

Hello, experiencing the same issue.
My assumption is that it's related to the "Intel Graphics Software" and not drivers.
I rolled back to 6559 yesterday (due to After Effects disliking the newest drivers not this bug) but kept the current version of graphics software and the problem persists.
Intel Graphics Software Version: 25.10.1253.2
Driver: 32.0.101.6559 /6737
Dell Precision 3590
Intel Core Ultra 7 155H 1.40GHz
Intel Arc Graphics (Integrated)
32 GB RAM
Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 (Build 26100.3775)
Cheers.

Thank you. I have dual graphics processors on most of my systems, so I am using the alternate GPU avoiding Intel altogether and allowing no Intel updates until there is a working solution.

Hi,
I have been waiting and trying the new updates, but nothing has changed. Even today the application updated to the latest version and there was no difference. WHQL Certified Driver Updates on/off Toggle reverts to OFF after turning it on and minimizing, and when selecting another menu item and going back to the Home menu item. The application does update itself, which I am turning off, because I don't want uncertified drivers to be installed. Why does Intel even allow uncertified drivers, why is there an option? You would think that Intel would be wise and only allow certified divers to be installed, so there would be little risk.
Thanks
