Whenever I try to run Rainbow Six Siege in Directx 12 the game will crash when I either go into a game or go onto the operator menu. All I can do is benchmark the game. I can run the game in Directx11 fine however I only get 220 fps rather than 330 fps when I benchmark. I know that the game is set to drop its support for Directx 11 eventually so its not a long term option.
I have the most recent drivers and Rebar is on.

Hello HarryCarr,
I understand that you are encountering an issue while playing Rainbow Six Siege. Please share the information below for me to address this properly.
1. Was it working fine before when using DirectX 12 or was the issue present from the start?
2. Is the issue isolated to Rainbow Six Siege?
3. Which digital gaming platform are you using (Steam, Epic games, etc.)?
4. Are you seeing any error message after the crash?
Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Jed G.

Hi, sorry for the late reply i hadnt seen the message.
1. The issue has always been present since my b580 arrived on the 10th.
2. I have also had some problems with Marvel Rivals which is also dx12 although its not as bad. If i play Marvel Rivals for 2 hours the game might crash once but with Rainbow Six Siege it crashes almost immediately.
3. I use Steam.
4. I get a pop up asking me to send a crash report to ubisoft. But in event viewer right after the game crashes i get a warning saying the display driver stopped responding i attached the screenshot.
Ive gone through all the usual fixes with ubisoft support reinstalling the game, reinstalling drivers, sfc scan etc.
Thank you for your response.

Hi HarryCarr,
Thank you for sharing all this information.
For further troubleshooting, please try to follow the steps below:
- Try using Vulkan API instead of DirectX 12
- Adjust in game settings
- Check for overheating
- Update BIOS
- Verify Game Files
For reference: Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege* Crashes with Intel® Arc™ Graphics
If the same issue persists, please generate SSU report and share it with me.
